Welcome to Guadalupe Montessori!
Guadalupe Montessori School (GMS) was founded in 1979. Since
inception, its goal has been to provide high quality Montessori
education to the children of Silver City, New Mexico and surrounding
areas. The school started in one room and has grown to a five-classroom
school complete with an organic kitchen, outdoor garden, animal
farm, and playground for each age group.
GMS offers an elementary program serving ages 6-12, a primary
program serving ages 3-6, and a toddler program serving ages 14
mos-3 yrs.
The GMS philosophy is to provide children a diverse and rewarding
educational experience, one that will instill in them not only
life-long friendships but also a life-long love of learning.
Summer Program
While the school year is winding down we're gearing
up for the GMS summer program! The summer program starts June
9th and runs for 4 separate two-week sessions, ending on August
1st.
Open enrollment starts May 13th, 2008. We have
an exciting line-up of workshops for elementary children ages
6-12 and primary children ages 3-6. We also have a Toddler Camp
for children 14 mos-3 yrs. Click

To register for the summer program, complete
a registration form (in Word format) and send it to GMS (or bring
it in to the school office).

2008-09 School Year
Not too soon to think about the next year! Registration
forms are now available for the 2008-09 school year. For returning
students, register by May 23rd and receive a $50 discount
on your registration fees!
